We all know that kishi had made Itachi the mysterious hero of Konoha by slaughtering his own kin,saving other clan,suppressing coup de tat,saving the arse of 3rd hokage.
but before all this was mentioned and showed Itachi was lyk d best villain in d series who might be standing next 2 Madara in current war.
Now certain things I like about Itachi(as a villain) was:
1)Obviously he slaughter his own kin and also his own father and mother.
Now whatever the case maybe u cannot kill ur own parents and go on sayin that i have done it for peace.
2)He told Sasuke 2 kill his best friend(Naruto) and then come 2 fight with him.
in this case he wants sasuke 2 kill a person who could be innocent and has nothing 2 do with Uchiha.but Itachi wants him 2 kill that guy just 2 get wht ms and fight with him.
3)He joined d S-rank Criminal group and also help them to extract beast.
now some would say wht else he can do.he is a criminal,missing nin.he has anbu dogs in behind his arse.well u r a hero go talk 2 hokage and ask for pardon.
4)when he and sasuke fought, he told sasuke he wants to become more powerful then madara by getting EMS.that was epic moment of his badass image.
Now turning him hero has really affected his negative image.he could have been at Obito's positon right now.he got totsuka blade to seal edo hokage,he definately would have been the next big thing in manga.
but kishi is really a twisted artist.
