Why are you guys so nice? lol no seriously... In high school if I told ever told anyone I watched Anime or read Manga they would think i was "trippen". I was a cool dude, people knew me but once they found out i was secretly a "nerd" or whatever Names they came up with i would get laughed at. Whatever though i Just did me, never followed anyone.

The point is since I graduated my family has become more distant, my parents don't talk to me, my old friends cant relate to me because i have a son and am engaged, i rap but cant even make it more than just a "hobby" cause no one gives a crap! They just see me as some family guy rapper dude who loves anime, reading, watching movies all day and as hard as I try making friends or a name for myself i get no where...

But then i come online to a few rap forums, youtube, and ofcourse narutobase and you guys(who are strangers to me) honestly care more and have better stuff to say or talk about than people i THOUGHT I KNEW.

I just want to thank you guys for making my life a tiny better even if its just the internet on some website. I love my life, girl and son so don't get me wrong but people like you guys( strangers who have shown me nothing but love) give me hope that the world isn't that bad out there. Maybe i just need to gtf out of Arizona, it sucks here.

i wish i knew some of you guys in person !

Yeah, we're a family here. Even families include the psychos from which people distance themselves. We're a happy family, most of the time. The younger ones like to play Troll on key days, which really grinds my gears. But then there are the intentional flamers. These guys are all hat and no cattle if you ask me.

Just like many people here where I live, but I'm happy that my few best friends also like to read and watch Anime/Manga, we are not mainstream like many others. _-_ Go to party and get drunk every damn weekend .. that just isn't cool.

Preach it brother I was just like u in high school hang with ma peeps and play pokemon at home lol even though I was a teenager actually I still have a liking for it as well as naruto. My bro constantly laugh at me and am 25 and yet I dont care I still love Japanese Anime and may continue to in the future =D.

Don't say that. I'm about to be 22 and I just slipped one past the goalkeeper.
I was the same way in high school. I was a jock/stoner and none of my friends got the manga anime thing so I just kinda hid it. Now im an adult I realize that half my friends watch anime. Guilty pleasures I guess.
