I was a huge Pokémon fanatic, but the 3ds seemed like a waste.

You don't need a 3DS to play Black/White 2. I'm playing it on one of the old, original DS systems. You will, however, need it to play Pokemon X/Y which come out later this year. I personally wouldn't buy a console for one game, but I'm considering getting a 3DS because I may not have time for full console gaming, and there are a number of good games comin out, such as the new Pokemon, new Super Smash Bros, etc.

Mismagius: my sort of jack of all trades
Sawsbuck: Attacker, potential sweeper?
Amoongus: My crippler, full of status problems waiting to happen
Ferrothorn: My Physical attack wall. Slow on purpose to gyro ball the fudge out of things
Gastrodon: My special defense specialist and good against fires against my poor Amoongus, Sawsbuck and Ferrothorn
Aerodactyl: Not sure about this one quite yet.... put on team solely for the bug advantage. might change :/
