This is to help with PSN.The reason it wasn't as good as Xbox Live was because there were no funds for it because it was free.But now they have money to actually improve the network.

... But I like free. Who wants to pay? You could, but in the long run, whats next? A new Playstation that could do better. Just like Xbox. However, Xbox went to the extreme.

It really doesn't matter to me because I buy ps+ anyway and you get great deals unlike xbox's live.

this is just another reason why not to get an xbox.

They would get greedy and boost it to 10 within 6 months. No one cares as long as it is free. I know I don't care, but it's nice to have some good online play without the lagging.

If by getting hacked every month and being down for like 2 months is fluid, then yeah. Pretty damn fluid to me.

It's not . it's like $5 though ,so it's not a deal breaker. I bought PS+ for PS3 for the lulz and I actually got a good amount of downloads and deals. It was worth it. PS+ is a better deal than XB Live.
