Thank you for posting this. I ouldn't really stand all those Sasuke's fanboys and fangirls telling how strong sasuke has become and he can defeat the JUUBI by himself when 90% of them forgot Hashi's contribution and Naruto's boost.

Well I'm not surprised by what I've been seeing on NB today. People will see what they want to see. However, I felt that I should make a thread to clarify exactly who solo'd what.

First, let's start off with the fact that Kagutsuchi and Rasenshuriken are both powerful techniques in their own rights. Nobody can truly deny that...not without actual proof to back up their statement. I mean, I wouldn't want to see this -->

OR this -->

hurling towards me in a fight. The damage that both can do on their own is quite extensive. Kagutsuchi doesn't extinguish until its target is gone and Rasenshuriken destroys material on a cellular level.

Now if either of those had made contact with the Juubi AND had killed the JUUBI on its own then people could honestly say that either Naruto or Sasuke had solo'd the Juubi. This was not the case though. Not in the least. Instead, their techniques COMBINED -->

to produce a new technique -->

The combining of the two techniques is clearly shown. On top of that, we can see Tobirama acknowledge their combination attack in the following panel -->

He didn't say "Naruto's attack is awesome and took out the Juubi" or "Sasuke's Kagutsuchi destroyed the Juubi." No, the only thing he did say was that "he hadn't seen a Kagutsuchi that strong" before. BUT, he said this AFTER the two attacks were merged into an even more powerful one. He even says as much when he mentions how well their jutsus compliment each other.

So, at the end of the day, did Sasuke solo the Juubi? NO! Did Naruto solo the Juubi? NO! They landed a combined attack by working TOGETHER! Not to mention the fact that the Juubi was already being restrained by Hashirama and confined within a barrier by the other Hokages. Take all of that away and I highly doubt the attack would have even remotely gotten close to landing its target. Plus, the Juubi isn't even dead yet.

Now please stop saying that Sasuke or Naruto solo'd the Juubi! That's just silly and demeans the whole idea of them working together.

Agreed. Both of them participated in this, but I cannon agree that Juubi is defeated. Maybe it really is, but I don't think they got it so fast. I'm sure that Juubi hasn't showed its true power yet. Anyway, you have a point. :)

I doubt the Juubi's dead as well. I just wanted to point out to all the people who have been saying that Sasuke (or Naruto even) solo'd the Juubi that they are incorrect. There are still some threads popping up saying this, and it's flat out wrong.

One person (can't remember who) has even said that there are "nothing but black flames hitting the Juubi so Sasuke solo'd it." NOT TRUE! Neither of their attacks would have landed, in my opinion, if they had attacked separately. Naruto's Rasenshuriken fanned the flames of Sasuke's Kagutsuchi to make an extremely powerful attack...FROM THEIR COMBINED EFFORT.

I doubt that Naruto's attack could make a scratch on Juubi. Sasuke did what Naruto could not have made in the whole war.

That's not the point here. The point is that their COMBINED attack hit the Juubi. They did it TOGETHER. Sasuke did not attack by himself, nor did he land an attack on his own.
