Do you consider edo tensei as a legit jutsu?

I dont like to count edo tensei when i am ranking characters. For example, if you were to rate oro abd BM naruto, would you say oro is stronger because he has edo and can resurect a full powered hashi? I myself dont think that jutsu is legit. And if you think it is, then the strongest character in naruto is kabuto because he summoned hashi, madara and all those other OP ninjas. What do you guys say?

I don't consider it part of a characters strength because you don't have to be strong when using the jutsu you just have to be able to control an OP character

Yes i do agree ET is way to OP especially in the hands of the likes of kabuto and orochimaru but at the end of the day its still a jutsu so it counts as the users power unfortunately.

No. Edo Tensei is power of immortal, powerful, impossible to run out of chakra, shinobi. It doesn't show us what the user can do. I always exclude Edo's and Edo Tensei when I formulate a tier list or top ten.

What he is saying is that the user themself is not using their own power, and i agree with this.

Because usually you don't control them. You summon them, then you can walk away and masterbate or whatever you want to do, while a REAL shinobi who has real skill does the work you couldn't do yourself.

I count Orochimaru's more than Kabuto's, sure he had a hell of a lot, but if you're miles away from the battle, and then the one fight you get in, you lose, that's pretty weak. Atleast Orochimaru used the jutsu and fought right alongside of it.

This. It's still not a 1v1 in my book, but at least i can respect the fight, that's more like using puppets rather than doing a fancy "call for help" jutsu.

Because that's not how it works. There were multiple summons resuming their battles while kabuto was fighting itachi and sasuke. Summons who would never participate willingly. The talisman acts as a controller, making the summon fight back without intervention by the user.

Of course Edo Tensei counts as an actual move. Kabuto earned that jutsu more than Naruto ever earned any of his powers.

In a fight it doesn't come to who signed the f*cking copyright documents for a jutsu, it's how strong you are. By any means necessary, Edo tensei users and people like Danzo are simply resourceful people.
