Now to back my theory up.
Orochimaru wants to know all jutsu and right now the Jubi is out. So If I was Orochimaru I would want to seal it in something or seal it inside me.
This is the story:
Orochimaru knows that it's just to strong to be taken down by just a few, so he helps revive the other hokage. Once the Jubi is weak enough and both sides are barely standing. Orochimaru will take the jubi and run. He'll have to run cause he'll be weak from using a unique sealing technique requiring alot of chakra. Madara would have already been defeated by naruto and Sasuke. Hashirama will not get a chance to fight Madara. Obito will lose to Kakashi.
Orochimaru will see that his physical body can't handle the jubi's power so he tries to find a way so that he can become it's true jinchuuriki. It will take some time. But in that time Naruto will go back to the village not as Hokage cause tsunade will still be alive. Sasuke will go back to the village as well. Tsunade will order it and plead a case for pardoning sasuke's felonies. The other Kages will accept with Garaa's helps and Sasuke will be let back in the village.
Tsunade has a long talk with the other kages and after a while they decide on having the chunnin exams early. In this Naruto and Sasuke are the first to fight. The other kages set it up this way so it would be fair to other shinobi who are in no way on their lvl. There are no restrictions in this fight.
I won't tell you who would win, but after the fight between them they are announced in jounin class. Naruto and Sasuke are given positions for advisor to Hokage and Naruto also has a job to teach at the academy. Sasuke is put in charge of the black ops and handed secret missions. Later everyone hears of orochimaru causing mischief trying to find the right body and jutsu to hold the jubi in. Tsunade sends Sasuke, Naruto and Sakura, to check it out.
Orochimaru will find out that he needs a body with both uchiha and senju dna in it to withstand it's power. He will also have created a jutsu to keep the jubi from destroying the new body. Orochimaru will head to the leaf village and take Tsunade while Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura are out looking for Orochimaru. They will hear about what happened and rush to the village. They will figure out that Sasuke is the last thing he needs.
This will be about 3-4 chapters in length.
Titles will be something like
First: Orochimaru's Scheme
Second:Hokage's Decision
Third: Naruto vs Sasuke, Chunnin Exams
Fourth: Senju and Uchiha, the Perfect Body
