Sasuke did not have a true change of heart

Repetitive thread but oh well.

Sasuke's character has been set up as the avenger and rogue ninja in search of power. I think he is fooling everybody for his own motives. What that is, I can't say. Who knows, maybe he wants to become the Juubi's jin or to use his EMS to control it... Maybe he wants to take out Madara or Obito to obtain the Rinnegan. All I'm saying is that I've been reading hundreds of manga issues and seen tons of character build up.. Kishi isn't going to make it that simple. Like I said, he has other motives but I think Kishi wanted to give a nostalgic moment and a mirror of the Sannin.

I mean, c'mon, even Madara had a his coming to the light moment but went right back to the dark. I believe it will be the same thing for Sasuke. All it is going to take is some new bit of information from Obito/Madara/Oro and BOOM, Sasuke is right back at it. I'm not fooled by the Hokage crap. Even Madara wanted to be Hokage.

Who is to say he hasn't? Who is to say that Naruto also hasn't noticed because there's a massive ten tails in front of them threatening the world?

Also take into note that Kirin only shows his chakra change when he is angry. Use his fight with Danzo (Susanoo final-form) and fight with the samurai (He killed them, pre-Raikage) as examples.

He would be a disgrace to his brother's efforts then.

There is a difference between Sasuke and Madara... Sasuke learned about the will of fire, and he loves his brother. Wasn't he going to the war so his village and brother's will wouldn't be wasted?

Chakra changes with a person's emotions. Darker emotion, darker chakra. However that's moot, as naruto was able to distinguish Kisame from samehada, regardless of their identical chakra. And the juubi is unsensable by KM, which is why he had to go into SM to sense it.

That is a good point. In the end, the hatred between the Uchiha and Senju has to end, that's basically Naruto's role

Itachi had the same power and he didn't went evil because of it. I'm pretty sure Sasuke is trying to overcome hatred and embrace darkness to do Itachi's will.

Maybe so... but Itachi was different. His best friend sacrificed himself for good. Itachi was good. Sasuke obtained it through hate and revenge. Itachi was never after the MS. Sasuke was definitely after power and would do whatever for it. Totally different characters.

Yep, open-mindedness is a good thing. As of right now I'm just leaning towards a bad guy role for Sasuke still but we will find out sooner or later.

One thing about Sasuke that I've noticed is that he is a lot like Oro in one way. He has his own ambitions and he usually only teams up with people to obtain them. Sasuke went to Oro for power. Sasuke killed Oro (while weakened) after he felt he utilized his sources enough. Sasuke formed his own team to fuel his ambitions. Sasuke stayed with Obito for a strong alliance to eliminate those he wanted revenge on.

My point is this... Everything Sasuke does is for Sasuke. This guy hasn't had a change of heart. He has been on a killing spree and was ready to sacrifice his own teammates, Kirin.

Right now, Sasuke is using the alliance to get to something he wants. He needs their help because who are his opponents? Madara, Obito, and the Juubi.

I believe he is after something that Madara and Obito have and he needs the alliance to obtain it. Like I said, I think it is A) The Rinnegan B) He wants to be the Jin of the Juubi

We can say that Sasuke has hidden (and evil) motives, but he will follow his brother's wish. I mean, he would do anything (evil or good) just to achieve his goal. We can only guess for now.
