Katsuyu I think that's what the slug's name is. Was asked by tsunade to heal the kage before herself yet sakura summoned her to heal the other 40,000 shinobi? Couldn't Katsuyu split up to heal all the kage and tsunade herself? Do you need a certain amount of chakra to summon a larger version? or were they different slugs? I don't know I'm confused???????O_O:eww::erm::':))

Well Tsunade stopped Katsuyu from putting her back together in one piece. Which (I'm just speculating) may take a lot of time and/or chakra to do. She was already in bad shape herself so she may not have enough energy to split Katsuyu to heal them all at the same time. Tsunade simply needed to heal the other Kages first before they died.

Now I'm assuming by the time Sakura summoned Katsuyu, she had finished healing Tsunade AND the other Kages.

What I don't get is why Kishi couldn't give Sakura her own slug summon like Naruto and Sasuke. That way, there'd be no speculation/confusion as to what the heck Katsuyu's doing.
