Orochimaru: Kill or Save Tsunade... That is the question.

I haven't been active in a while but after last chapter I've been reading many discussions and articles as well as global predictions on Orochimaru's intention and role to be played in the upcoming chapters.

SO hERe I gO:

in the last scan we see Orochomaru arriving to where apparently Tsunade is:

Now, he says, and i quote " Not in a good shape... Tsunade". (Orochimaru is being sarcastic as usual)

Now, second fact that got my attention:

We saw Sakura and Shizune referring to katsuyu as "Lady" Katsuyu, which means that's the one and only Slug we've known so far as the 5th's Summon. Also, Shizune explains that Sakura is using the 5th's remote healing jutsu through Katsuyu.

Now, it gets more interesting...

Katsuyu, when realizes how Sakura managed to activate the Byakugou Seal attempts to say something about Tsunade... something like "Tsunade-sama will definitively be proud of you" OR will definitively SURVIVE... counting on Sakura's potential to re-attach Tsunade. However, we did noticed how Katsuyu said Tsunade-sama WILL and not WOULD HAVE ... fact that gave us the first impression that Tsunade, some way or another made it to survive this long after being cut in half.

Yet again, Katsuyu didn't attempt to alert everyone, or at least Sakura on how bad Tsunade was. The only thing this can actually mean is that Katsuyu was able to re-attach Tsunade and heal the Kages.

But again, something suspicious is how Sakura suddenly starts crying right before we see Orochimaru arriving to Tsunade and the Kages.

Anyways, my conclusion on what Orochimaru said ("not in a good shape, Tsunade") after all evidence we've got pointing to a Tsunade's survival can only mean we will FINALLY get to see the OLD and exhausted Tsunade. come to think of it... if Katsuyu wasn't able to save her master, you can bet Tsunade wouldn't be alive by the moment Orochimaru arrived just because NO ONE can survive cut in half for so freaking long... that's for sure.

Now, the real thing here:
Will Orochimaru Save Tsunade so that Sasuke can't become Hokage, therefore he would start trying to get Sasuke's body again or Will he kill her because he wants Sasuke as a Hokage so that he would influence him to finally achieve his goal of destroying Konoha?

We will definitely see Sasuke vs Naruto. That's something undeniable... Probably the detonating point will be Sasuke's implication on Tsunade's assassinate in an attempt to raise as the new Hokage...

But believe me, if that happens... Naruto will kill them all.

What I do know is that even old and exhausted and almost dying... the Legendary Granny will stand and fight if its necessary. She must have an honorable death.

I think Orochimaru's going around saving and reviving powerful people because he knows they will be needed to defeat the Juubi.

Orochimaru knows the biggest threat is Madara, the Juubi, and Obito, so he's making sure they'll be defeated. That way it'll be easier for him to take his own power.

He's playing a game of Chess from both sides, to ensure victory.

You made a good point, but i believe Oruchimaru will Try to save Tsunade but fail, cause Tsunade (Like you said) No Nobody can live that long while they are 3 ft away from her boobs and legs

who ever said that her body is still split in half? an her slug most likely healed her to the poit where she will continue to survive.

I assumed, and how can I tell the future -__- so the best is to assume

From what i can guess from the way Katsuyu was talking about tsunade, She is alive.
The fact katsuyu allowed herself to be summoned by sakura should also point out that tsunade should be in a stable conduction.
Take naruto trying to summon gamabunta for example, Since he was busy another toad came in his place, Same would be the case for katsuyu (if she was still working on putting tsunade back to together).

As for sakura's tears, I think it was just nostalgia of Naruto/sasuke fighting as a team once more.

I think Oro will will Save tsunade, it's most likely the reason he brought karin with him because he had guessed/Sensed/Had a snake or something scout on ahead.
Since karin is there it points towards him actually helping, If he was on his own then it would be a different matter.

I don't see Orochimaru having much reason to kill the Kage, unles he's that confident in the Edo Kage's abilities.

Tsunade is one of the most important support characters of the manga. Of course Kishi won't give her an offscreen death. What I think is that Orochimaru is going to heal her, thus Tsunade can go back and fight again. Or heal the others and let Sakura to fight. We'll see, but I'm sure she won't die, at least not like this.

I don't think she'll be able to put up much of a fight if Orochimaru is really gonna assassinate Tsunade for Sasuke's benefit. After fighting Madara, healing the other Kages and probably reattaching herself, she must be exhausted and in no condition to fight. Oro says she's not in good shape so we know she's weak right now. However, he did bring Karin with him so he might just let her be healed. I never know what to expect from Orochimaru, I could see him healing Tsunade whether he was still evil r not.

First of all if i remember right oro still has one zetzu left so he can maybe hse a jutsu at tsunade that restores her upper lart with zetzus body and maybe she gets than even the moukoton ??
What we know is that the godaime hokage wont die so easy and not off screen
Orochimaru is not there just for fun

if even if she's exhausted and almost in a coma... you know how stubborn she is. She will put on a fight no matter what. Even if she knows she's not gonna make it through it.
That's the way she is and will always be.

He will kill her and revive her at the very least to restore her to a higher fighting ability. Not to mention it would be way faster than healing her. Plus as you said it would leave the hokage seat open. It fits too well with Kishis plans to not happen. I just hope Jiraiya stays dead.
