[Theory] Katsuyu may have told sakura that her master is dead or almost dead

If kateuyu was summoned to the field - is must mean that she was done with tsunade - or that she could help tsunade so she left her to dye.

Actually no. As I understand, when the summon is busy they don't get summoned. For example, Naruto was surprised that it was Gamakichi he summoned and Kichi said that Gamabunta was busy and that's why he showed up.
