not only me predicted it,i bet all of the members in any naruto forum or any regular fan already knew this is going to happen.
kishimoto is not really that creative concerning new powers.he set a lot of limits for the characters in his story making their actions quite predictible and repetitive.

i don't really bother to make threads,but i've seen plenty saying there will be a combo FRS+amaterasu.
and what've said about him not being creative,i take that back.
but still he set a lot of limits to the growth of his characters and ignored the developpement of their jutsu arsenal(unless it's a KKG),naruto being the prime example for that,there's not too much to expect from a character without a KKG in this manga,and that what made fights quite boring and repetitive.
