Yes, thats exactly what I thought aswell. The scroll that Suigetsu gave him, could it be that it holds a sealing jutsu for the 10-Tails?

Lol ofc not, that scroll was the key to summon back the edo hokages and release the death reaper's seal.

Probably he plans to take control of the Juubi and so become the hokage by force since he knows that they don't plan to make him.

Sasuke was f*cking with everyone "burn it down" hmm what did he mean ??? :noes:

I wanna know, "kishi! Draw the new chapter for me, I won't tell anyone :snick:"
Kishi had planned this all along...just as planned, isn't it? XD
And yeah, the chapter was great. And remember the first time sasuke showed up, juugo said something like: "what are you thinking, sasuke?" Meh, we'll see...=D

Why would he want to burn the juubi down if he wants to become it's jin, Kishi can't chance Sasuke goal again. Sai was talking about Sasuke intention to become Hokage.

Probably to weaken it.

I don't think he wants to become the host ,because why would he say "Burned it down". I don't get it really,I mean I don't think he now has some secret plan to kill the aliance . He was never the type during this manga to hyde his true intentions. He said he wants to protect Konoha,I don't see how can he now all of a sudden have some evil plan. That would be some serious trolling from Kishimoto.

The thing is, he knows he can never become Hokage, so he's trying to force it with Power, like the older son of the sage.

I don't know, I got some weird vibes with Sasuke this chapter. That shading that Kishi put on him also made him look well...shady. He spent 3 years of his childhood living with Orochimaru and as we all know a human gets formed partly in it's childhood (birth-17 or 18ish).

Should be to kill Naruto

Would make ZERO sense. ZERO!

One can dream

I think what Champ said is feasible. If Sasuke's plan is to change things, it's possible that he's starting by eliminating the tailed beasts once and for all. They're a large part of the modern system that created the situation that they're in now. He'll have to get rid of Kurama and the Hachibi next, and that could be deadly for both of their hosts.

Sasuke is not turning evil again, Kishi would make a joke out of him self as a writer if he keeps changing Sasuke goals.

Well his goal now is to become Hokage, but we don't know the means by which he wants to become it. Maybe he'll follow the path of the elder son. Peace through power. It's all just speculation now of course.

How would that be a change in his goals? Protecting the village by getting rid of the source of the problem? He said he was going to change things. That is one way of doing it. It might be ruthless, but it's still a way. He never said he was a goodguy or a badguy but maybe people erroneously thought that the desire to protect the village made him a goodguy when it actually doesn't mean anything, because there are "good" and "evil" ways to protect the village.

Killing off the tailed beast of B and Naruto would have been something ''a good guy'' would do 150 chapters ago. But B and Naruto turned the demons into puppies, now what good guy kills of puppies?!

I think you missed the part where I tried explaining how Sasuke's goodness or badness is still up in the air and his goal is neither. The means to reaching that goal can be good, but there are also means for reaching that goal that are contrary to the "goodguy" image. The very conclusion of the latest chapter makes that apparent that his goodness or badness still remains ambiguous.

Everybody is wondering what Sasuke's real intentions are. One or two (Sai at least) wonders about him out loud. He is a bit of a rogue character, and lots of people might be in opposition to his plans if they knew what they were. Even if his plan/goal is noble, they might not like his means for reaching them. That might be the very definition of a badguy.

Wasn't that scroll what they used to find the locations of the Uzumaki masks to revive the Hokage?

I understand that, however its clear that Sasuke was talking about the Juubi when he said ''burn''

I think he really wants to do '' the right'' thing and carry on his brothers will.

Yes that's what I said in the first post. He wants the Juubi to burn. It's one of the things he needs to get rid of if he's trying to get rid of all beasts. That's just an idea I had. I'm just speculating on what Sasuke's intentions are along with everyone else.
