I am only putting this out there, and it is simply based on recent manga chapters; but my theory is based on these small point (this will not take long):
1. Although Sasuke no longer wishes to destroy Konoah and has infact stated that he wants to become the Hokage, he is also still aware that being Hokage is Narutos goal. He knows that Naruto is now perfect Jinchuriki of the Kyuubi >>> Sasuke still seeks more power.
2. His cold attitude when he said 'burn it down' leads me to believe he knows this is not the Juubis final form. Maybe he knows he has an ulterior motive, whereas his 'colleagues' (of Konoah) are currently lost as to what his plan is.
3. Sasuke is still in allegience (somewhat) to Orochimaru. There is a bigger plan. That said, Orochimaru could very well take control of the Edo Hokages at any time (with the exception of Hashirama).
4. After hearing Hashiramas telling of the history of Konoah, Sasuke might mean to fulfill what Madara was unable to do, for the sake of his clan, building a new Konoah.
5. Even if Sasuke is not 'evil' it is possible that Sasuke, as well as Orochimaru, knows that he cannot defeat Madara/Obito/Juubi without the help of the alliance. One thing that is confirmed is that no one wants to be pulled into the jutsu of the Infinite Tsukuyomi. >>> That said, there is still the possibility that Orochimaru would want to gain control of Sasuke whilst being the Juubi Jinchuriki, using his desire to become Hokage against him and thus creating the final epic boss of the series. Orochimarus full possession of Sasuke (this is another theory). Something Orochimaru has always desired >>> remember, that snake cant be trusted!
ok... these seem like obvious points, and i am sure many people will have different opinions. Thats fine, but no trolling please.
So what do you guys think?
