Im pretty sure everyone agrees that there are some match ups we longed to see. Also other ninjas should of appeared.

Examples like: itachi vs obito or itachi vs madara.

Would of been a great battle with Jariya vs Naruto.

Konoha white fang(father) vs kakashi

Or even Rin coming back. There are others Im sure but they didnt show and it just left room for wander or maybe a potential movie.

Jiraiya can't be revived.

And Rin was like 13 and without a Biju when she died lol, who could she possibly prove to be a threat to?

Edit: Worded that wrong, she had a Biju but of course it respawned after.

why couldnt jariya be revived? apparenty his body is at the bottom of a lake. so water jutsu that removes water and revive him.

Rin would of been a mind blow for the other ninjas who known her. if i was to revive her..ill show that she can do something more than healing and fight. there was plenty of useless ninjas out there so adding her to the fold would of been nothing bad.

yea but that doesnt mean that for instance, the kage of the mist couldnt or something. plus what about when that granny sage toad summon naruto and the for other great tolds to konoha to fight pain. im sure she got the same contract seal on jariya

The reason that happened was due to plot. It would be horrible to bring Jiraiya back due to the intensity of his death. J-man is a champ but I really do not want him to return
