Learning...

So it was one of "that days" again .. I wanted to LEARN for school, I wanted to do some productiv stuff .. but as always .. I just couldn't! I took out my book, my papers .. and I was just watching on that paper like a neanderthal.. Seriously, I just can't concentrate and I can't focus on it! I learn .. 5 minutes, later suddenly a wild fly appears and its the most interesting thing on earth.. Just learned about 15 minutes and than came to NB to make a thread instead..

Who of you have similar problems like mine? Do you guys have any tip to be concentrated and to be focused for such things as learning for school? :/

Depends what grade level your in. K-12 was a bunch of bullshyt except for calculus and biology. Once you hit college, at least for me what I learn is what I apply, which makes me appreciate learning more. And I get easily distracted as well, I just know how to be clutch at the right moments.

Focusing isn't much of a problem, particularly when you understand a subject, it's most;y just review and revision......well, at least in my case.

Lol .. yes I get distracted easily .. but I have a good memory, so I get the honor role every year .. so for me it's all good ..

Yes this exactly, when I'm not interested in "that" subject than it is even more difficult to just sit there and learn.. :/

Just take it easy, I improved a lot my junior year the moment I stopped stressing over my grades. That and just space out your work

I kind of had your same problem a few years back, but started controlling it over the years. Try sitting in the very front and center of the class or in front of where your chalkboard/smartboard is, that should minimize the things that distract you and keep you focused.

Ohh yeah. I always sit at the front of the classroom close to the teacher because I get distracted so easily. ;c

You also go to school in Florida...We have the worst public school system in the US...

OT: Read more. Gain an appreciation for thinking and processing information. Take your lessons and find real world applications so you can review and retain.
