Why Genjutsu Could Still Affect Naruto/Perfect Jins

Naruto/Perfect Jins are by no means immune to Genjutsu.

A normal genjutsu is not immediately broken from by the Tailed Beast inside a Jin. As seen in Bee vs Sasuke, it takes a few seconds that can be exploited by an opponent.

Not to mention Tsukuyomi is impossible to break out of, since Tsukuyomi is 72 hours within MAYBE a second, probably even less. The Tailed Beast can't break you out in time because by the time half a second has already gone by, you've been stuck in the genjutsu for nearly three days.

All of which happened, and Asuma and others had no idea any time had passed when Tsukuyomi was broken.

But Tsukuyomi affects a person's perception of time which is purely psychological. Even if a bijuu was fast enough to break his partner out in a second, that's still 3 days of possible torture.

Tsukuyomi is a very broken jutsu and I'm sure Kishi won't be giving Sasuke that same disparity in time (unless he already has).

So I think perfect jins are good against non-time affecting genjutsus (which is most of them I think) and only fall down to tsukuyomi-type stuff.

Genjutsu has been shown to affect perfect jinchuurikis. <(-.-<) It is in the manga itself. Though, they can still break ot of these genjutsu's easily enough. ( Not talking Tsukyomi of course.)

Well it's not the actual genjutsu that will incapacitate them, it still took 8-tails a few seconds to break Bee out, time in which Sasuke could have stabbed him or killed him.

Indeed it could effect a Jinchuuriki fast enough. But we don't know so far if he can actually destroy the jinchuuriki's mind in such a short time just because he can manipulate the time.

So I don't really know if I should say that the genjutsu can break a jinchuuriki like that or if not.

Just no, eight tails already broke thru a tsukuyomi...fanboys will argue with me that sasuke's tsukuyomi is inferior but it is already stated in the manga..perfect jins are unaffected by genjutsu...besides, with naruto's thousand clones...it wouldnt be easy....

Minato isn't a perfect jinchuuriki. Why do you bring him up in every thread ? Can you read or are even capable of saying anything but "Minato" ?

You forget. That as a perfect Jinchuuriki Kurama can control Naruto's body with his permission. So if Naruto's mind is trapped in a Genjutsu, Kurama can control his body and release him from the Genjutsu.

Case closed.

I'm well aware that the 8 tails broke out of Sasuke's genjutsu. It still took time to do it <(-.-<) Against Itachi's Tsukiyomi, the results would obviously be different. Deal with that.

Genjutsu affects perfect jins, we both agree on this. Perfect jins can easily break out of genjutsu in a matter of seconds, we both agree on this as well. Tsukyomi, on Itachi's level is different to the standard genjutsu.

Show me where Sasuke used Tsukuyomi.

Even if it WAS Tsukuyomi, Itachi's is perfected Tsukuyomi; Sasuke didn't even know how to use it. Itachi has the nightmare realm, which allows control of time and space, something Sasuke didn't have.

Your right on the fact that perfect jins are not immune to genjustu period.
They do have a higher chance at breaking out of one then most people thanks to the fact one can disturb the genjustu current at any given time.

Tsukuyomi does not however automatically warp your sense of time
That ability was soley itachi's he could manipulate things while in tsukuyomi,sasuke can't
