[Theory] Naruto and the Rinnegan

This is just a thought that I've been mulling over in my head for some time now. I've read a few of the debates about whether or not Naruto should get Rinnegan, and how it would be possible for him to get it. Here is my spin on it.

We all know that in order to awaken the Rinnegan the user must first have both Senju and Uchiha DNA. Naruto is an Uzumaki, which means he more than likely has the Senju side of the DNA already (if you subscribe to the theories about the Uzumaki/Senju connection). Well, what if Naruto actually has Uchiha DNA too?

How can that be you ask? My theory is that when Naruto fought Sasuke at the Valley of the End he gained Uchiha DNA. This could have occurred when Sasuke used Chidori on him, driving his hand through Naruto's chest. Of course, I don't have any evidence other than the fact that we don't truly know how Madara ended up getting Hashirama's DNA or when precisely he awakened the Rinnegan.

No we actually do know how Madara got Hashirama's DNA and we know that towards the end of his life span he awakened the Rinnegan. And no Naruto will never get the Rinnegan unless they are implanted into him.

if were going by that logic then sai sakura and naruto have hashi's dna cause they ate yamato's trackers, but none of them spam forests so i don't think it goes that in depth. but good thought

If Naruto gets Rinnegan that would be lame. Him having Uchiha blood is just a no no. Sasuke hand was covered in lightning and wasn't bleeding. Idk how Naruto would have got Uchiha blood in him unless some how he got a half body like Obito.

This would be amazing, however, him getting Uchiha DNA would prove to be difficult, I guess. I don't think he could have gotten Uchiha DNA just from the chidori/Sasuke's hand alone. There would/should be other ways he could get it (but I doubt he will). And yeah. He probably already has Senju DNA. Rinnegan Naruto would be amazing, to say the least though.

I think what OP means is that we don't know how Madara got Hashi's DNA as in we aren't sure of the method he used to obtain it. We know when he got it, which was during during their fight. But we haven't been told to this point exactly how he took it. Nor have we been told how he implanted it. We don't know if it was Hashi's hair, a piece of hashi's skin, etc

If naruto gets the rinnegan it will be because sasuke takes a fatal injury that was meant for someone else most likely naruto or sakura. Then tells sakura to give his eyes to naruto. Or who knows maybe if obito gets talk no jutsu'd then he may give his rinnegan to naruto

This is exactly what I meant! Thank you for clarifying that. That's also why I think it's plausible for Naruto to have gotten the DNA during his fight with Sasuke.

His already going to get a power up (second half of Kurama) and now a Rinnegan, I don't think so but it would be better for Sasuke to get it, because then they will both be equal because Naruto's Bijuu mode could probably resist Shinra tensei just like with Pain.

Yea it's plausible. People tend to forget this, but a person's DNA can be found in more than just their blood. All it takes is a piece of dead skin or or a strand of hair. So while it may be a stretch, it's definitely within the realm of possiblility that Sasuke could've had a piece of skin, a chipped nail or something fall off his hand and onto the open wound through Naruto's chest, which could've gotten stuck there when the wound healed up, giving Naruto a small amount of Sasuke's dna.

If Kishi does give Naruto the Rinnegan via Sasuke's dna however, I'm sure he'll get it some other way than this

Both Naruto and Sasuke trade their saliva. As you know saliva contain DNA, therefore both of them have Uchiha and Senju DNA. Both of them have potential awaken the rinnegan.

If it's true that Uzumaki/Senjus and Uchihas can get Rinnegan by getting each other's DNA in/on them, then there'd be rinnegans everywhere because they've been slicing each other up throughout history.

I guess the exception in both Madara and Naruto's cases are that the specimens they would've got their DNA from are special. Like, their best friends.

But yes, whoever ends up dealing with the Juubi once and for all is probably going to need rinnegan. Someone will have to awaken their own pair if Obito isn't converted or dealt with soon.

he said something like that : after implating hashirama's cells/dna on my wounds nothing happend but when I was on the verge of death i finally activated the rinnegan.

There's no way that would be enough!! Otherwise Madara would have unlocked the Rinnegan a long time ago with his fights with Hashirama.

And shouldnt Sasuke have unlocked it by now if thats the case?

Naruto needs to get an EMS at the very least to have a chance at the Rinnegan. But I doubt the will get it, unless its a gift from Sasuke

jubi have to be sealed in someone or by dividing it(such as 1 tails,2tails to... 9) all part have to be sealed... casuse it can't be handled for long time so that's why it's required to seal but i see only naruto is there for best fit of being jubi's jhinchuriki so after being jubi's jhinchuriki naruto can awake Rinnegan...
