War? Yea, at first, but now it's more like a talent show. I've seen more action in Family Guy.
Hopefully things will get better after the Juubi's Final Transformation.

Neji... Kishimoto isn't going to kill off too many favorite characters because a Russian kid committed suicide, over Itachi's death. Another kid attempted to kill himself over Itachi's death, but failed.

I completely agree with you..
but
Some kids have been watching/reading Naruto for around five years. It's sad but killing off favorite characters could be detrimental to kids who aren't psychologically healthy.

I didn't believe this at first. I can't believe this is real.

You don't need to kill everyone to make it seem like it's a war, I think it's more about the overall tone of danger. Which just isn't there, they should all be overwhelmed physically and emotionally by the Juubi, but yet here they are cracking jokes and acting like it's nothing.

I think Kishi said more and more people would die... So... Yeah.

Not quite sure to be honest, but I do expect some more casualties. Kishi is good at killing people off. I will give him that.

Why the hell do people expect more deaths cause of the war? Granted a few regular shinobi died I don't see why main characterz with imcomplete development need to die too. It's like any kind of war an army with medics and generals so I don't see a problem

That's like saying none of my army buddies died therefore the afghan war wasn't real. The shinobi alliance has lost ours headquarters and several thousan soldiers. If you think about it k11 and the other characters alive are supposed to be the elites of the shinobi world. It makes sense that they have survived till now.
The only problem I have with the war is the mood. It's too light and happy considering thousands of shinobi have lost their lives.

Well, even elite soldiers die. But in Naruto...they have been protected by a plot shield

This war could of been alot of better if more main characters died, because of the connection we have with them. This war would seem alot more exciting and emotionally heart-breaking at the same time...it could of connected with the readers alot more. This arc had the potential to be the best in Naruto and possibly any other anime (I've never seen a full scale war on other anime arc's).

If the death were those the same as Asuma, Kakashi's against Pain, Hinata's against Pain. I think we could all agree that this would of been one of the best arc in Naruto.

But it ain't and IMO, its getting too the point where it's going to be too late for Kishi to turn it around :(
