I know Neji'd Death was good for a hinata development but i still feel like neji should not of died.

Neji was actually one of the coolest characters in Naruto and one of the Strongest hyuuga we seen.

I feel like kishi trolled us.

Kiba or shino should have died. xd

then who would replace them I assume you've seen that Naruto manga is all about balance, if there is a stronger enemy there must be strong allies too. And if a person dies another comes and refills that position, like when Hiruzen died Tsunade became his replacement.

I agree.... Neji could have lived.... I think one of Ino-Shika-Cho's death would have made more impact.... But then their dad's died.... I think Kishi sama could have killed Choji.... Ino and Shikamaru lose their dad's and Choza loses his son....

Then probably Ino-Shikamaru-Choza could have done combo attacks and avenged Inoichi,Shikaku and Choji....

Or Lee using the 8th Gate....

It was for plot purposes to kill neji But how about If he lived and Maybe Kiba dies and Hinata would get development that way.

i agree. Even after he died, hinata started thinking about how big naruto's hands are.

Neji himself cant be replaced. He was the Genius of the Hyuuga clan and could have lived to surpass all of them someday. His teamwork and bonds with Team Guy are also something that cant really be replaced because their whole group was based around taijutsu and there aren't many taijutsu specialists on the caliber of Neji at his age.

The thing is, there was hardly any impact whatsoever. You know why? He became irrelevant soon after the fight with Kisame. You didn't see him in action again until the war and even then all Kishi did was put him down until the chapter he died where Kishi tried so desperately to hype back up Neji and the Hyuuga clan (which is pretty much useless considering he only just now focused on them after several years of neglect) and then tried to play it off as a big deal, like Neji actually mattered to Naruto, which he hardly does in actuality.

Someone dying from the inoshikachou group would have made a MUCH bigger impact considering their development throughout the manga and their massive amounts of screentime in comparison to Neji's, but it then the inoshikachou legacy would jus end there. Neji was in the same situation, but the thing is, Hinata was there to take his place as the leading Hyuuga character, and being a branch member who was doomed to never be clan leader, it was considered "okay" to kill him off despite his potential. All it did was cause a massive uproar about how Kishi managed to ruin a perfectly good character.
