I agree AOT is awesome but the number is so high because of the anime release and everyone now buying previous vol. since the anime brought about many, many new fans
what do you mean by plot progression ? am pretty sure this "Free" anime is just about a group of pretty boys, walking around topless for 20 minutes,
what else can it be ? you don't actually think they will take this swimming theme seriously aren't you ?

You're falling into generalization. We don't know if Free has a good or bad plot yet. All we know is the premise, which would be 5 high school boys in a swimming club. What else would it be? Aliens?
You're falling into a tangent here, and that tangent is far, far from what I've been talking about concerning Kuroko no Basket. I berated Kuroko for overusing its fanservice while not giving its premise the proper spotlight I feel it deserves (Kuroko's Basketball, now it's like Kuroko's Life With Other Pretty Boys). I'm criticizing KNB because I've read it up to the latest chapter. You on the other hand, are criticizing something not even out yet.

Burden of proof is on you. You keep telling me K-ON male version, blah blah. Where's your proof that Free's plot sucks? Where's your proof that Free is Fairy Tail for us women? Until such things appear, I will remain hyped for it. I already said I was hyped for KNB and I liked it at the beginning (and I've kept up with it since its first chapter), it's just that I now know I was disillusioned.

You have no way of determining whether or not Free is an anime that depends entirely on fan service aimed at girls, especially when you're basing off of trailers, promos, and posters. Stop acting so superior and look at the big picture. It's like telling everyone One Piece sucks because you saw it in things like these:
Can you really, honestly judge One Piece through this trailer without knowing much of the plot and its progression besides knowing that Luffy stretches and he wants to be Pirate King? Because looking at it through the trailer, I might have been turned off of One Piece entirely.
Don't judge a book by its cover, or an anime by its trailer. I know Free uses fan service to reel in the viewers, but there have been some that do it right (Fushigi Yuugi, Saiunkoku Monogatari).
I said that I wanted KNB to give the sport of basketball some love too, but it didn't, which led me to dislike it a little bit. However, you're telling me that you're 100% sure that Free won't portray swimming correctly based off of trailers. If I based everything off of trailers then you'd bet I'd find The Hunger Games good.

well as of now of course i can't prove it to you that free is a bad anime, but looking from the director whose in charge for this anime is none other than the one who did K-ON and a bullcrap known as Chuunibyou, i can at least tell that this anime is not going to utilize it swimming theme to its fullest, at best this anime will be about a slice of life among the pretty boys overcoming their each one of their emo problem,

never said it plot sucks, i just stated that its not as good as people make it out to be and pretty much worse than KNB cause they'll most likely utilize the fan service to it fullest and ended up overusing it like KNB or perhaps even more,

am pretty sure the Basketball theme have more than enough attention already, i mean its just that recently the manga is switching into the generation of miracles emo conflict.
