Minato in chakra mode

I am very confused at how Minato could possibly be in Nine-Tails chakra mode. While he was in death, was he fighting with another Nine-Tails or something? Its not like he was training to control the Kyuubi while he was dead...

Probably himself, in a place where naruto went to, to fight his inner self.

Well if you think about it the kyubbi is connected just like how Minato left a portion of himself in Naruto, so Kurama inside Minato probably informed him about the transformation; but then again not much is known.

All Naruto did to control kyubi's chakra during his training is to pull the chakra from Kyubi,,,Minato did that right after Naruto's birth ,,,so it is possible and he can use it just like Naruto did exept entering bijju mode,,psdo jin is no diff from original jinn

Simply put, Minato achieved a pseudo-version of Kyuubi's Chakra via Death God. Similar to Gin & Kin, he was able to maintain control of the Kyuubi's Chakra from being an unknown descendant of the Sage.

I wasn't really concerned on how he did it, more just amazed as to how boss Minato is. He probably did it the same way Naruto did it.
