The Ultimate 'Shinobi'?

So far, in the manga we know that the strongest to ever exist is the Rikudo Sennin. And now, it's between Madara and Hashirama.

But, the term 'shinobi' literally means 'those who endure'. So, in my opinion the ultimate Shinobi is the one who has endured the most.

So who do you think has endured? Honestly? I think it's between Naruto and Itachi.

Itachi shouldered the burden of killing off his clan, he endured the hatred and scorn directed at him. And the heart wrenching pain he must have felt at killing his own family and 'betraying' the little brother he loved so much.

Naruto, well besides Bee he's rather unique amongst Jinchuuriki. He endured the life of an orphan, hated and unloved. Yet he never lost his smile and he always tried to help others, even at a young age. As seen by his rescuing of Hinata from those bullies who were quite a bit bigger and older than him. I'd say he was about 6 at the time and they were around 10. He endured all the hate thrown at him, and rose above it to lay his life on the line and protect the inhabitants of Konoha like a true leaf 'shinobi' should. Just like Itachi did.

So, if you agree with my theory who do you believe is the ultimate 'Shinobi'?

Itatchi- naruto had friends unlike itatchi and itatchi accepted the fact that everyone looks down on him and he would probably be never accepted.

But Itachi had Shisui who believed in him, and put his trust in Itachi to protect the leaf.

And Naruto, he didn't gain any friends until Konohamaru. Even the majority of the Konoha 12 mocked and belittled him alot. Sakura, Sasuke, Ino, Kiba, Neji etc.

And Naruto, he didn't gain any friends until Konohamaru. Even the majority of the Konoha 12 mocked and belittled him alot. Sakura, Sasuke, Ino, Kiba, Neji etc.

I think they mentioned he had a gf too. Not sure.

It should be itachi. Man killing off your clan and still living on without friends takes endurance

Nobody's even remotely comparable to Itachi. Naruto was orophaned, but had Iruka snd, to a lesser degree, Hiruzen. That sucks, but it's nowhere near the same level of killing your family for the sake of preventing world war, and having the world despise you for saving them in that way. Then he went and endured crippling sickness all the while.

kakashi/gaara/naruto/itachi

Kakashi hardly endured. He had to be saved by 'obito' from his shell.

Gaara didn't endure, he went crazy and was brought to his senses by Naruto.

Gaara endured alot to be honest. what his father did to him was really harsh.
Itachi had to endure alot with killing his clan and such.
Sasuke had to witness the destruction of his clan at a young age.
Naruto had to endure alot of pain and suffering from the 9 tails and everyone in the village, for a while.
Lee had everyone telling him to quit being a shinobi due to not having ninjutsu he endured alot taking everything from gaara.

at least 1 of them.

He didn't really get Iruka until after he graduated. And Naruto was hated and unloved for his entire life. Not to mention having to life with this thought in his head constantly 'Jinchuuriki - Power of the human sacrifice'. Then he had to endure having the knowledge that inside him he housed the beast that most likely made him an orphan, and was the slayer of his parents.
