Like many stated before "What happened to the Hawk?" and "the" hawk is right... There could be exactly one.. or a few of giant Hawk summoning species which could lead me to believe that the hawk Sasuke summoned was his personal hawk, and unlikely that many if anyone else in the NV has one.
By personal Summon I mean the summon in question is beyond rarity. Similar how the Gedo Mazo was the personal summon of Nagato, Tobi, and Madara because there is exactly 1 Gedo Mazo and only applies to a single master at a time, unlike snakes, toads, and apparently slugs who can have multiple masters signed on a single summoning contract.
We've seen other personal summons in the past, such as the summons used by Nagato (the chameleon, the dog that multiplies, and upsidedown bird etc.), and Dazno's Baku Destroyer of Nightmare or whatever that crap was called.. That summon actually had a title, and was known as a powerful summon speculated by tobi's response during the Sasuke v. Danzo battle.
This Hawk could be Sasuke's personal summon.
