[Predictions/ theory] The arrival of the new generation.

The last page in chapter 633 showed us the arrival of the new Sages.

Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura are in essence replacing Jiraya, Tsunade, and Orchimaru's generation and the generation before that.

This great war is the measurement too see if Sasuke, Sakura, and Naruto and their generation are capable or even possible to take over the first, the very first... Madara/Hashirama's generation.

In past chapters, Shikmaru gave us a clear insight in what Naruto series is all about. It's about the youth. I believe that the Asuma/ Akatsuki arc was very important for the growth of shikamaru and his discovery of the meaning behind kingpin.

Through shogi and Asuma's guidance the smartest character in the manga (Shikamaru) said the youth will always take over the current generation.

Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura have officially taken over as the reigning "sage" figure.

I believe that this great war is the vessle in which Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura are measured and to test if they have passed Hashirama/ Madara's generation.

Leading too a new Hokage.

Will Naruto's vision of peace become reality? How about Sasuke's strife in ending all feuds after learning about his ancestry, And Sakura? What change will come if she become's Hokage?

You cannot deny shikamaru's intellect. Who else is on his level?

Shikamaru's father was up there to be in the hokage's circle. Shikamaru is definitely the brains of the new generation.

Haha I almost forgot Hanzo was the one who gave the title of Legendary Sannin to those three.
