What Oro has, that Sasuke lacks.. The last Sannin to surpass his master..

I mean in terms of raw power Sasuke would stomp on Oro; Susanoo, Amaterasu, Etc... however in terms of overall knowledge and ability... He hasn't passed his former teacher.

Oro knows close to every Justu created..(this doesn't mean he can perform all of them.. however he does have knowledge of many of them)

Senjustu knowledge and some usage, as well as immortality and real sword of Kusanagi.. and let's not forget his signature Edo Tensei.

If Oro is the final villian that will probably be the deciding moment where Sasuke defeats/ Surpasses him. Let's face it, Naruto surpassed J-Man in the Pain Arc, and Sakura just surpassed Tsunade chapter 632/633.

True Sasuke killed and absorbed Oro back in the beginning of part 2, however he was severely ill and still didn't have the use of his arms.

And tbh Sasuke would probably have a difficult time fighintg Oro as he simply played around with a 4-Tailed naruto transformation and blocked a TBB with triple rashoman.

I'm just saying.. Sasuke still has alot to learn. (btw not im not saying he should get ET or anything i'm simply implying that Oro has much he could still teach the young Uchiha)

Naruto surpasses Jiraiya only because of kyuubi, imperfect sm Jiraiya is still stronger than sm Naruto

so it shouldn't be a shock Sasuke hasn't surpassed Orochimaru.

I didn't read it all, but if you expect them to surpass them because of knowledge, Naruto is waaaaaaaay behind Jiraiya. He has one wind attack and has epic chakra. Jiraiya had a lot of jutsus as well.

Intellectually, all of team seven are behind team Hiruzen.

But powerwise and as overall ninja:

Naruto surpassed Jiraiya with Chakra mode (as sage mode Naruto and ism Jiraiya are about equal).

Sasuke surpassed Orochimaru with ems (because ms Sasuke and healthy Orochimaru are about equal).

Sakura needs a stronger byakuyu or "slug sage mode" (if there even is one) to surpass Tsunade. She's closed the gap a lot though.

LOL nice double post.. but no.. I'd say you have a point taking into consideration Tsunade and J-Man's abilities and even if you wanted to say that none of the"new" Sannin have passed the Original Sannin then it;\'s likely the the one with the farthest gap overall would be Sas and Oro...

Hypothetically a battle between Sas, Nar, and Sak, (only using techs taught by or related their masters) they would probably lose.. Nar wouldhave close fight J-Man,Sak would have a close fight with Tsu, and Sas would be blown out the water.. I simply wanted to create a hypothetic situation.. this is not a VS thread.

Yes I do see where you're coming from but compared to the three Sasuke is the farthest away I'd say.. also he claims he has nothing more to learn.. it could also be speculated that he meant he had nothing else he wanted to learn..

He could have easily taught him ET, told him where the Ryu Caves were, and plenty of other skills.. Sasuke is egotistical at times.. and his words don' always represent the situation at hand

I agree. Sasuke could defeat a healthy Orochimaru in a head on fight, but Oro is still much more intelligent and cunning than Sasuke. He was arguably the strongest Sannin.
