Then why is he not worried about the ten tails being attacked? He is doing nothing just watching.
And don't forget Oru and Tobirama are here and can find out a way to reverse his edoo tensei.
He must be sure that the juubi cant be defeated otherwise everything is pointless.

Love how everyone was complaining about no konoha 11 character development, but once they start to get it again people just shit on the chapter. lol.

People complain about chapters that have no action, but when there is one they complain about the plot not advancing. Make up your minds. People also complain about how other characters haven't had any of there new skills shown, but now that they are there are more complaints. Kishi gives you what you want then you change your mind. Some fans are so fickle.

Now that my rant is.done. I loved the chapter. Seeing the old rookies progress was great and I like the new sannin scene.

The big highlight to me was Hinata stealing the spotlight again, even if it was for a couple of pages. Just awesome! Pretty interesting to see Sakura, Naruto, and Sasuke summoning their own toads, slugs, and snakes..see what happens with that. Kiba was kinda annoying though, he wants his fame too. Shino with the bigger bugs, pretty funny. All and all, decent chapter.

I would give it a 5 for just releasing a manga this week but it kinda is reverting to the chunnin exams and that brings back a lot of horrible memories of the 2 year fillers for me. Not anything new and at the end of it the only thing I could think of was "that was it!" it didn't make me want to wait for next weeks manga just made me want to take a nap.

Kiba's new move was pretty cool (especially mangapanda's translation of Cerberus), I liked the new Ino-Chika-Chou combination. I like how they can combine their powers instead of just being random like the other teams. I thought the summonings where pretty cool even though they are just copying the Sannin. 3 or 4 in my books

Bunch of ****ing whiners. All you guys do is complain. There was ALOT to like in this chapter.

Not really. It's just easier to please the uneducated.

1. Many of the characters we have missed more action from gets some time in the spotlight

Who cares? The reason most of these characters did not get time in the spotlight is because they are irrelevant and they always have been. During the chuunin exams the only people who mattered were Naruto and Sasuke. Especially since Orochimaru set his sights on Sasuke during this time. Did you really care what InoShikaCho were up to at the time? No, of course not. Did you care about Kiba or Shino or Hinata at anytime? No of course not. During the Sasuke retrieval arc, only Naruto, Sasuke, and Orochimaru mattered. And like the majority of people here by that time you were plastered to Itachi's crouch so whenever you did come up for air I doubt you had time to ask about the other Konoha Rookies. They've been irrelevant since the first arc of the manga and they've only become more and more obscure sense then. Don't make to the ballasts now of all-times just to defend your deity and excuse his piss poor writing decisions.

2. Lots of new and "clever" techniques

Hinata uses the Hyuuga standard practices, Shino puts his bugs in people, and InoShikaCho's grand formation is a ghost using Chouji's fatass like a yo-yo. Yes, when you're stupid anything is clever.

3. Naruto and Sasuke showing the same old team rivalry they used to do way back

How is that a good thing? All it shows is that none of these people have grown up.

4. The way the chapter was ending with the summonings, it felt almost like the sannin trio were back, just in new forms.

What in the **** are you talking about? They've telegraphed this since the search for Tsunade. It was always implied that Team 7 is basically the new sannin. How is this so god amazingly interesting to you? If I say we're going to McDonald's you're the type of person who goes batshit crazy because they have fries. The story plot may not have developed any in this chapter, but there are more elements to a good and successful chapter than plot development. The manga needs some of these chapters aswell, in between.

THAT! Not only did you contradict yourself you have shown everyone in this forum that you are somehow even less competent than everyone who gave this chapter a four or better. You know the point of every chapter in every story of every piece of literature? It's to advance the ****ing plot! If a chapter does not do its intended job then it has failed, much like you have at putting together an intelligent post. Again this is you: Well sure the car can't be driven from point A to point B but the glove box is roomy.

i thought the chapter was decent. I'm glad we finally got to see some character development from the rookie squad, kind of pathetic Hinata JUST learned 64 palms gentle fist, Neji did that at the Chuunin exams......

A lot of people were saying the chapter is boring, but I have to disagree. This chapter was full of action, might not be the action you want, non the less it was action packed, and I was impressed with what I saw. It also looks like Gamakichi is finally a full grown badass lol I wonder if Sakura has Katsuya or some daughter or neice??:dunno:

Anyway, I rated this chapter a 5, It gave me something I was waiting for, so I cannot complain. For all those that do, you'll be reading it next week lol

Crap I voted 5 by mistake, this chapters deserves a 3/5 imo, it wasn't that great but not as bad as the last few chapters.

The only good thing about this chapter is that Konoha 11 (or better, 9) didn't spend their time in the backgroung for nothing, guys got new tricks up their sleeve.
And of course, Hinata isn't going to give up so easily, just cause Sakura is Tsunade-wannabeing.

Other than that, I'm seeing that we won't have epic battles as an ending for this story, instead everybody will become friends and live happily ever after. Perhaps a little fuss over the Hokage's cape, if we get lucky. Oh crap.:|

Firstly, one thing I loved about this chapter, which I think Part I did much better, was the interaction between the rookies, so awesome. I honestly freaking loved Kiba & Shino in this chapter, simply badass.

I also liked how Kiba turned into Cerebrus, it's nice to see some roman/greek mythology in NARUTO.

I love how shino fist-bumped the Juubaby, though it kinda looked like he was well.....fingering it.

I'll save Hinata's part for last.....

Next we got the InoShikaCho YoYo & Ino's weird technique...what exactly was she doing? Were they like sharing their eyesight or somethiing? But that yoyo attack was pretty badass, kinda reminded me of Sonic the Hedgehog.

Sai's part was great, though I feel bad for when he got hit and had this desperate look on his face. Sai's part could bascially be summed up like this:

And then theirs Team 7. I must say, I really wish Jiraiya was here to see Naruto. So beatutiful.

Sasuke's snake looks like it has a mustache.

and now finally, Hinata.

My god, I don't think Im supposed fangirl so much. That smile Naruto gave to Sakura Hinata, it's adorable since his face was cut off in 615 when they held hands.

Sakura Hinata said she'd be by his side forever. That hand holding between Naruto & Sakura Hinata wasn't meaningless, this chapter proves Sakura Hinata feels an emotional attachment to that moment.

About Hinata’s lion fists & 64 palms, here’s something interesting to note.

All the rookie 9 showcased brand-spanking-new-kick-my-ass-and-call-me-susan jutsus that we’d never seen before, like Kiba’s 3-headed dog.

But this wasn’t the case with Hinata; we’ve seen both the 64 palms & the Lion fists before….so I think she’s still got more up her sleeve (or she may gain new powers)
