Shino's new jutsu from Chapter 633 was creepy and gross....

Come to think of it.... Shino is kind of immune from Genjutsu since the Bugs live inside his body and even if someone tries to use Genjutsu on him.... The Bugs will realize his Chakra flow is irregular and bring him to his senses....

Now if you see his new jutsu.... Close combact with Shino is like suicide.... So it gives him advantage over Taijutsu users as well....

It pains my heart to say this but I guess Shino is above Choji,Lee,Neji and Sakura as well.... All of them are Taijutsu users....

Choji - He can increase his size.... But so can Shino's bugs....
Neji - His Trigrams rotation is ultimate defence and his ultimate attack at the same time but it's a Chakra shield.... Shino's Bugs feed on Chakra....
Lee - Close combat with Shino is useless....
Sakura - She uses Raw strength.... Taijutsu.... Her problem is same as Lee....

With Sakura's new jutsu i'm pretty sure that her Punches (which are implanted with her massive chakra). could crush shino.

I was soo impressed.

And I agree that he may be immune to genjutsu, and that most taijutsu users propabbly will be commiting suicide by making contact with him.​

You have speed like Lee/Gai/kakashi/sasuke and so on, Taijutsu should work fine against him. Since shino would still have to react/Summon a bug and place it on the person. So high speed taijutsu combo's should be ok.

Those bugs eat Chakra.... It would be a treat for them.... They simply can form a shield protecting Shino and eating Sakura's Chakra at the same time....

His bugs can't see genjutsu, so unless shino directly tells them to disrupt his chakra (which we have no proof he can do) he'll be trapped in genjutsu.

Using that logic, anyone with a summoning contract is "immune" to taijustu, as they can just summon a gamabunta sized animal inside someone they touch.

Well..untill Shino do the punch in Lee he should have already finish him off cause of the difference in speed!
Genjusu will put him in a 2 sec without guard so someone like sasuke who is fast can easily finish him off...Now,iabout the others you mentioned i dont know...although i 9/10 of Konoha 11 cant beat him 1v1 now!(except they get how to deal with his techniques)!Now as for the other ones(Gaara,Naruto,Sasuke and other)i think he is an easy one

But if you look at his hands.... He simply did kind of a Fist bump on that Jubbi minions body.... I think he was simply letting those Bugs go from his hand on that Jubbi minion's body.... So I guess even touching him is a problem.... =D =D

Well its hard to say...because He planted that bug with his own direct attack.

So I'd say Lee is too fast.

Neji's Byakugan would likely see the insect, and he'd naturally know to its a threat....its possible he could use chakra to kill it. (Using his chakra points as spots to blow it off of him.

If Sakura would probably just deck him....as Shino sucks at Taijutsu.


But as for genjutsu, the bugs cent use ninjutsu to disrupt the flow; however, they could probably consume the false chakra flow in his system...so yeah kinda resistant bit not immune.

They can communicate with him.... They live inside his body.... So they can detect his Chakra Flow if someone tries to put him in Genjutsu and free him from Genjutsu....

Could someone please explain to me how Shino sucks at Taijutsu? He's never had to use it or fight against it for us to even judge. The only idea we've got is his 1.5 stat in the DB. Even before Giant Parasite, I always thought it was a horrible idea to get close to him unless you had speed.

So Neji and Lee can definetly still beat him in Taijutsu.

Chouji could possibly do so aswell if he come rolling as a Giant Human Tank.

Against Sakura it would be 50/50. Whoever hits the other one first will win the battle.

Shino was always versed in controlling the field in a mid-range, so he never was a good matchup for a taijutsu user, nor against a genjutsu user because the insects would always wake him up from the illusion.

While I love Shino, the real problem about him is and always was that his fighting style is not well-rounded (a bit more so in the anime where he uses some clone-based taijutsu and wired shurikens and such), he is mostly about bugs. And while bugs are indeed awesome, they still fall against plain old ninjutsu. Every shape or nature trasnformation of chakra exterminates pretty much even the biggest Beetle Sphere your imagination could conceive. If you think about it, there's just not much a mass of insects can do against a fire ball or a water flow.

So, while Shino improved (and was never a weak shinobi to begin with) he isnt' a strong as he looks on paper. Ninjutsu asre still a massive pain for him.

he needs to release the bugs into the person. He won't have enough time to touch any of these guys AND release the bug from himself to crawl into the person. Lee, neji, and even sakura would only give him split second touches at a time. he won't engage bone crushing sakura in close combat. Choji is a likely defeat for him, but choji usually uses human boulder so he won't have transfer time.
