Confusion about Minato and Naruto..

There is something confusing about the chapter 633.

So here it is... Please read carefully:

During the battle with Pain, Minato appeared within Naruto's consciousness and told him that he knows what happened. He seems to know about Jiraiya's death and the question Pain asked to Naruto. But in the new chapter (633), it seems like it's his first time seeing rasenshuriken. If he saw what's going on during the battle with Pain, then shouldn't he have been already know about rasenshuriken?

First I thought he only knows what's going on after the 8th tail appeared, so that he couldn't know about the new rasengan, but that does not explain how he knew about Jiraiya's death and Pain's question which are happened before the battle and before the Kyuubi transformation.

So, is there anybody with an explanation for this situation?? I am really confused.

The "Minato" inside of Naruto wasn't a real one, chakra clone of sorts.

So the Edo Tensei'd Minato doesn't know about the incidents of the Pain battle. That's a good theory.

Or maybe Jiraiya's death and Pain's question were what Naruto was thinking while the 8th tail appeared. In the anime, Naruto was depressed and obviously thinking about all the things that give him stress. Maybe that's how his dad learned about these. I found this theory because in the previous chapters, Minato doesn't look surprised to see his son called him 'dad'. So somehow, Minato's consciousness in Naruto might have been combined with the Edo Tensei'd one.

There are several issues on this.
Remember this is a fiction manga.

Minato had included his chakra in the Gate Seal. He will appeared when the Gate (with Kurama inside) Seal was about to tear off. This will activated Minato to reseal and talk a short time, because his chakra level was low, less than Kushina chakra.
Whereas in chapter 430, Tsunade saw both Jiraiya and Minato images, protecting and giving Naruto support = faith. Both Minato and Jiraiya said they had faith in him.
But when Orochimaru revived the SOUL of the Hokage, he used another body (zetsu).
Minato was in edo mode. (the Eye)
Anything could make belief in fiction, Naruto World...

Chakra Minato within Naruto was surprised that Naruto didn't know who he was and concluded that everything was kept a secret from him by the 3rd. Edo Minato probably had the same assumption that Naruto knew about him; added to Minato's presumption that Naruto had already confronted the Chakra Minato at some point in taming Kurama. So Minato could have easily assumed Naruto knew who he was, and would have been more surprised in Naruto didn't know who he was.

Edo Minato we see now has been inside the Shinigami NOT Naruto, so that's why he doesn't know about Raisenshuriken nor did he recognize Sakura.

The Minato inside the seal was not a shadow clone though, so it's not a plot hole.

The divided Minato makes a lot of sense. One that lived his entire life within Naruto, and the other who knew about Naruto mastering Kurama (and in consequence knows about Naruto meeting him in his consciousness).

For one, it isn't a shadow clone... Minato's appearance earlier in the manga was just chakra presence there to convey a message to naruto and reseal the Kyubii thats all, It is possible that minato doesn't know anything that the chakra minato "knew" For one, Minato had no clue who Sakura and sasuke were...

There was no original body to return when the Minato inside Naruto ended.

Maybe Minato wasn't surprised because he deduced that since Naruto attained KCM, he must've met the part of himself he sealed inside Naruto and that he met Kushina so he knows that Minato is his father. Or perhaps he thinks Naruto was told by someone.
