With Toonamis return to TV at least cartoon network isn't totally unwatchable anymore. (GET THE HANA BARABARA CONTRACT BACK!!!) However I can't help but reminisce about the old days and think about where they are still screwing up. Us older members remember watching it five days a week when we got off of school. Not once a week late at night on Saturdays. They don't take risks with programming either which is sad. I remember when they aired all kinds of anime that wasn't top five sellers in Japan or had already sold huge on another network. I miss the mini series like Blue Sub No. 6. I miss the fact that I could watch three episodes of three different Gundam series in one day. Hell I miss Moltar. It really irritates me that they said "Were back *****s" and then came back for once a week when a lot of us are asleep. Okay I'm usually out drinking but the point remains the same. Toonami didn't need to be brought back just for the old guys like me with nostalgia alone. It needed to be brought back for the kids. Show the Shounen anime during the weekdays and the darker stuff for us on Saturdays. That's something this generation is greatly lacking. Come on Cartoon Network. Get your shit straight.
