[Hakairyoku]

"No problem." Patrick assures her. He sits down on on of the stools, placing his hands on the counter. One of them is bandaged up.

When Indigo comes back out with his pancakes she notices the bandages on Patrick's hand. "What happened to your hand?" she asks.

*puts in headphones turns on my music and closes my eyes*

When Indigo comes back out with his pancakes she notices the bandages on Patrick's hand. "What happened to your hand?" she asks.

Patrick blushes, this time out of shame. He takes the bandaged hand into his other hand. "I, uh... I might have overreacted yesterday when you left. Not here, but back at my place." He scoffs. "It was pretty stupid of me."

Indigo frowns a bit. She felt like his pain was partially her fault. "What did you do?"

 

[Hakairyoku]

Patrick frowns as well. He won't meet her eyes now. "Punched the wall." he murmured. "The doctor says my hand's broken."

Indigo's eyes widen. Did I make him that angry that he broke his own hand? she thinks while staring at Patrick. "Patrick....." Indigo says, her voice breaking a bit. "I'm sorry..... I seem to always end up hurting people even if I don't physically hurt them..." Indigo looks down at the ground with her fists clenched tightly. Her eyes turn red again and smoke starts to come from her hands as she clenches them tighter.

 

[Bluetwilight]

Cheshire watches the two discuss as he floats on Patrick's broken arm. He chuckles then disappears.

 

[Hakairyoku]

Patrick watches Cheshire warily for a moment before Cheshire disappears. But then, every part of Patrick is focused on Indigo. He stands up, putting both of his hands on her shoulders. "Indigo?! Hey, it's not your fault. Please calm down! I was angry at myself, angry that I couldn't understand you and what had happened to you. It was nothing you did!" One of his hands moves up to cup her face. "Indigo..."

Steam stops coming from Indigo's hands as she unclenches them. Her eyes change back to green but Patrick most likely didn't see it happen since she was still looking down. Tears start to run down her face again, also getting on Patrick's hand.

 

[Hakairyoku]

Without hesitation, Patrick pulls Indigo closer and embraces her. He rests his face on the top of her head, sighing. With his good hand, he rubs circles on her upper back. "I'm so sorry..." he whispers.

Indigo hugs him back, still crying. "You never did anything though.... Why are you apologizing?"

 

[Hakairyoku]

Patrick smiles a little. "I never did anything. And I'll never begin to understand what happened to you. But... I'll be here for you the whole time. So, I guess I'm apologizing because you'll be stuck with me whether you like it or not."

Indigo smiles, tears still falling from her face. "Lucky for me, I'm glad to have you around...."

 

[Hakairyoku]

Patrick takes a deep breath but keeps smiling. "I-I'm glad to be here." He moves away a little to look her in the eyes. He wipes her tears away.

Indigo smiles even more. "Thank you Patrick." She looks up into his eyes and blushes.

 

[Hakairyoku]

Patrick's usual blush returns. His smile widens when hers does. "Of course..." He chuckles a little. "So, uh... did you still want to take that nap?"

Indigo nods sleepily. "Yeah...." Indigo looks down at the ground for a minute then when she looks up, she presses her lips against Patrick's cheek, kissing him. She then heads to a booth and lays her head down on a table.

 

[Hakairyoku]

Patrick's face and neck both flush bright red, and his good hand instinctively touches his cheek. He looks over his shoulder at her, smiling like a goof. Yet, he definitely doesn't want to disturb her now. He returns to his stool, the fresh pancakes still in front of him. Hungrier than ever, he starts eating.

Indigo quickly dozes off in the booth with a smile on her face.
