Question regarding Rinneganas the next evolution of MS

Well not sure if this has been asked, but why if the next step of evolution after MS is the Rinnegan, the user uable to use the jutsus of MS once its evolved? Is not supposed to be more "Powerful"??

Yeah, that's what I'm saying...MS turns into Rinnegan, no question about it...my question is why after it turns into Rinnegan, it looses the jutsus of MS? Its like Naruto loosing his SM capability after entering KM...(not saying Naruto looses his capability)

Yeah.... it doesn't lose the MS abilities. That's why we've seen Madara capable of switching between EMS and Rinnegan to suite his needs, hence why he is still able to use Susanoo.

Nagato could not use the EMS jutsus altough he had Rinnegan...
