[Hakairyoku]

Patrick's been listening this whole time, sitting there quietly. He's still very close to Indigo and smiling. But, he finally comments. "Maybe when you're finished writing, you could read it to us or something. Right here in the cafe."

Indigo turns to Patrick and grins. "That's a good idea! But it's up to them to decide." ^-^

 

[Hakairyoku]

Patrick nods. "Of course! Only if they want to."

"Hey Patrick, do you want anything while I'm still working?" she stops and laughs before adding, "I seem to always work as if this is my job even though I'm just helping."

 

[Hakairyoku]

Patrick laughs as well. "I'm sure they're glad to have you." He scratches his head sheepishly. "Well, I guess a coffee will do, if you don't mind."

Indigo nods and gets out of her chair and heads to the kitchen to make the coffee.

Patrick watches her go with a small smile on his face.

It's a romance/comedy type fanfiction. It has nothing to do with anime though.

Indigo returns and places the cup of coffee in front of Patrick then returns to sitting beside him. "There you go." she smiles.

Patrick smiles brightly and nods. "Thanks a lot." He adds a little bit of cream and sugar and stirs.

"Patrick, can I ask you two questions since this one counts as the first?" Indigo asks.

 

[Hakairyoku]

Patrick chuckles. He takes a sip of his drink before he speaks. "S-Sure, Indigo. Ask away."

Indigo looks down at the table then up at Patrick. "Uhh.... Wh-what do you think of me?"

 

[Hakairyoku]

Patrick's eyes widen. He puts his drink back onto the table and looks at her. He fidgets with his hands to keep them from shaking. "O-Oh... W-Well..." He takes a deep breath and lets it out again. "I think you're very nice and... somewhat mysterious, I guess. But, that's probably because we still don't know each other too well. And you're funny and... really pretty. There's so much more I could say." His face and neck are both burning red.

Indigo first smiles but it slowly turns to a frown. She looks down at the table and says in a low tone, "I....I'm glad you feel that way but...... Let's just say it's not safe for you.... I'm not really supposed to have as many friends as I have now either.... It-It's really complicated...." It looked like all the happiness that was usually in Indigo just faded away. Even her bright green eyes looked a little dim.

 

[Hakairyoku]

Patrick frowns when she does, and he notices a total change in her. "N-Not safe? What do you mean?" His hand lingers near hers but doesn't touch it.

"I'm not.....normal......."
