She used one of the three Fairy Tail exclusive spells which can only be used by someone with the Fairy Tail Guild Mark.
the others are Fairy Law and Fairy Glitter , they are all spells used primarily to protect Fairy Tail...

Most great and flawless theories read between the lines to the fullest extent , (not saying mine is flawless , but there are some which are over a thousand words long which are , and i used the same methods they did...)

Hmm I think I understand your theory and especially the zeref-natsu relation could be, zeref's behavior IS strange indeed.
I still don't get what you wanted to say with the age of the dragon...does it matte for your theory? (then I didn't read careful enough).

The age is to back up that i say the only living dragons time travalled in order to bring up dragon slayers capable of killing Acnologia
