Spores absorb chakra. Shouldn't they absorb it before he even releases it? That is how chakra absorption works.

They absorb chakra slowly, otherwise everyone during the kage summit would have been drained and unable to use their jutsus.
The spores aren't like Preta Path.

I didn't say it would absorb all his chakra instantly. Clearly they absorbed a good amount of chakra because it replenished sasuke's just from Mei's chakra.
