As soon as I heard about edo tensei being used again I sharted bricks because that meant we could see naruto vs jman in a pass the torch kinda fight

instead, I see a bunch of momentary appearances from characters many people couldn't care less about... WTF, like, tayuya gets revived but not jman? That's just outright bs

And to anyone who wants to argue that you need a good amount of his dna... how about the weapons the spop used to eviscerate jman?... or maybe even use HIS WHOLE ARM, ya know, the one that was cut off in the cave

All in all, may he rest in peace, but I wanted to see my pervy sage again

Give me one reason why and how he should be revived.
Kabuto didn't have any of Jiraiya's DNA and his body was way too deep in the ocean (Which means Kabuto somehow knew about Jiraiya vs Nagato)
As for Orochimaru, it is obvious that he DOES have Jiraiya's DNA but there is so reason why he should revive Jiraiya.

I'm actually rather pleased by Jiraiya not becoming an Edo. His death would be ruined, two arcs ruined (Pein vs Jiraiya, Naruto vs Pein). For both plot and emotional reasons. Some of the most heart aching scenes following his death would be meaningless.

That, and he died as a true character should. No redemption, no last words, he died in battle regretting his life.
