I get this feeling he just doesn't want to admit it, just like at the end of Part 1! Naruto has clearly not only made it to Sasuke's level, but has most likely surpassed him.

Sasuke not acknowledging or noting Naruto's power is just sheer stubborness.

It's part of their dynamic. As long as Sasuke can continue to discredit Naruto's abilities, HE can feel the security that he's doing something right.

Remember their fight on the rooftop? Sasuke was more angry that Naruto had caught up, and not that Naruto himself was getting stronger. Trust me, he'll react eventually. Maybe when he sees BM?
