Sai is switching from Team Kakashi to Team Gai

Now that Sasuke is back, there is no need for Sai to be on Team 7. Now that Neji is dead, Team Gai needs one more person to complete the standard three man squad. After the war, I believe Sai will be assigned to team Gai.

What do you guys think about this?

He was acting friendly with Lee during war arc; and a long range fighter like sai would be applied well; not as efficient as Neji; but it would be cool.

I do not like team 7 much Sai deserves better.

Sure but no one could replace Sasuke either. Sure Sai may not be as great of a fighter or character as Neji but he'd do fine I suppose.

Neji is overall stronger than Sai IMO but Sai is a pretty strong fighter and a nice support character as well. He can create ink birds where Tenten can spam weapons from without her having to fight them on the ground. Also, Sai can back Lee up with ink beasts.

Yeah, he used to be a bit of a nobody anyway so I guess he is someone who can adapt to many different situations due to lack of emotional ties with others.
