Well minato said that they're eerily similar. Maybe they are to similar? Maybe they are somehow actually relatives!?! Maybe Sakura and kushina are some kind of cousins?!?! :O that would mean naruto and Sakura are family!?!?!

When a child grow up, its learns from there parents what a settled down relationship consists of. So natrually, a boy or girl will seek out similar traits in their opposite respective gender. Boys if their mother was shy and gentle, a boy will be more attracted those qualities in women. If a girl thought her father was brave and kind, she might seek out a boy who's just as brave and kind.

As of course this isn't always the case in the real world because of divorce, and children who never meet there parents, and of course parents who are bad parents. This might create the instinct in the child to seek opposite traits.

No matter how in depth you go will all this, the best thing to do is just wait to see what Kishimoto will do. Because Sakura basically put NaruSaku on hold during chapter 632. Proves she still likes Sasuke.

It's not just personality you know. I was just pointing that out because that's something Hinata (or any candidate) does not have common with Kushina.
