Is there a Truly Plot Relevant Reason he has team seven fighting together?

We Know how Kishi has hyped team 7 in the past even though they never really accomplished anything together as an actual team. Now with the latest chapter and the color page where he called them the dream team are they actually going to accomplish anything important relevant to the plot of the story. He gave Sakura a power up last chapter so she can at least do something fighting with Naruto and Sasuke but how well will they actually work together and what will they do? Just fighting little Jubi Clones is nice but are they actually going to do something important like damage the actual Jubi or fight Madara or Obito? I do think the fact they separated Kakashi and Obito right before team 7 reforms could mean something and when one or both of them finally comes back seeing seeing Sasuke fighting together as a member of team 7 could lead to something since it sort of parallels team Minato but I am not sure. It feels though that Kishi also could have no real reason to have team 7 together other than to bring fans back to the early days of the manga and try to cash in on those sentiments and after a few chapters of them ultimately not really accomplishing anything it simply goes back to Naruto and Sasuke trying to do everything on their own again with team 7 being completely forgotten.

Did it ever occur to you that one day the students of Konoha's Legendary Sannin would surpass them. All members of team 7, that wasn't a coincidence. I believe this is the only way for Saskue to gain redemption from all Villages and Clans at once. Setting us up for a more important battle...Uchiha Sasuke v Uzamaki Naruto for title of Hokage!!!

The plot is fine man, just sit back and chill...Maybe we'll see them do something crazy like the Susanó/Kurama combo, regardless of how predictable it'd be

Mhm... Well... I think it has something to do with how the next generation prevails and accomplishes things the previous couldn't. In this case, Sasuke was able to "come back" as opposed to Orochimaru who didn't with the Sannin.
