Did the sage have byakugan?
No but theres alot of unstated facts it didn't come from the sage most likely his eldest son

Was the Sages wife a hyuuga?
......hell no why??? Hyuuga came way after his death and if he did......worst incest ever

The sage was senju and uchiha?
Another no why basic logic his sons are the senju & uchiha bloodlines

Funnijustu is from hyuuga?
No its from the uzumaki clan stated

So ima put all logics away

Priest (uzumaki symbols priest)
Powerful sealing ability

To all who don't think the sage gotten the rinnegan before here is logic

1. How could he just obtain a huge powerful dojustu during a fight

2. If he did get rinnegan from juubi then he is already on god level since he was human during the fight

3. How he got the dojustu before the fight? He had been born with it because its stated he is 1st & only to master the rinnegan that takes years

4. If there was hyuuga why wasnt there dojustu known before the sage

SOLOED the gyuuki with a tool of the sage, according to this thread"s logic its impossible. thats like saying nagato got the rinnegan on his own. no madara transplant

My dear friend.....
The sage used his katana and his buddhist preist staff to fight but used a fuuinjustu scroll to seal the beast also nagato was mostly uzumaki then senju.

That's why the older and younger son representatives,hashi and madara combined,=rinnegan
Then use the juubis chakra to boost your eyes(madaras eyes=rinnegan)to the next level
