And the difference between them is thin, because either one can kill you if executed. Yet, noone complains about Chidori. Instead, they target Sakura because they can't accept that she has a new jutsu.
Hyakougou is the equivalent of the Creation Rebirth, which is what Tsunade used in part 1 when fighting Orochimaru. It allows the user to heal themselves by releasing chakra in order rapidly increase cell division. The user must release the chakra in order to begin the jutsu and it's unknown as to whether or not there is a limit on how much damage can be repaired with it.
Byakougou is a step above this, and the equivalent of the Strength of a Hundred technique, which is the advanced move that Tsunade said only she knows. It allows for cell regeneration as well, but unlike Creation Rebirth (Hyakougou) it doesn't require hand seals and skips the step of user input. It's damage repair limit is also unknown, but it did keep Tsunade alive after being severed in half.
In other words, the people on the base aren't wrong. Sakura can heal like Tsunade can, because Tsunade can heal with hyakougou. And I haven't seen anyone say "Sakura has Byakougou", so I'm not exactly sure if you made this thread because you aren't that big of a Sakura fan and wanted to try and say something you felt would upset them or if you were just bored. But either way I hope this puts you at ease
She hasn't released it. You don't know what it can do. Her punches are stronger because she has more chakra to devote to fighting that Tsunade because of her youth transformation.

The seal appeared and she talked about releasing her real power, that doesn't necessarily mean she released the seal, I just saw it forming.

Tsunade's seal=/=Sakura's seal. Sakura is at the level where only that diamond appears on her forehead, just like Tsunade.
Her real power is the seal. The Yin seal stores chakra and then releases it for a power up. Sakura stored up chakra and released it for this power up. Even if Sakura hadn't outright stated she is going to release her power now, the fact that she was powered up shows that she did in fact release the chakra stored up over a period of 3 years.

Keep in mind, I'm not outright disagreeing with you: maybe Sakura's seal cannot be released and the seal is the power but, in the way you phrased it, you are contradicting yourself.

Tsunade has been shown to use the chakra stored in her seal to increase the strength of certain jutsus without having to use Byakugou. She can tap into to the chakra and use it when ever she wants for whatever she wants. Sakura is using the stored chakra along with her normal chakra to increase her strength. That is why she is stronger.

... That is plausible, but who says that Sakura's seal doesn't work in a similar way? If that is the case then the argument of the seal not being released yet is valid.

But those markings only appeared as a result of Tsunade activating her Sozo Saisei the first level of Byakugo. Yin Seal and Sozo Saisei don't go hand in hand, Tsunade released the excess chakra in her seal to use Sozo Saisei similar to how Sakura released the chakra in her Yin Seal that she had been gathering for 3 yrs, to dramatically boost her strength.
Sakura notes hers is superior to Tsunade's as she doesn't need to waste chakra to hide her age.

So I'm inclined to believe that the diamond on Tsunade's forehead is what gives her that boosted strength and its definitely what causes her to look young. So the appearance of the diamond on Sakura's forehead is most likely simply the release of the chakra in her Yin Seal which powered her up.

You make some valid points but it is not for sure, what we know so far is that Sakura has a seal similar to Tsunade's that is boosting her strength so, given the similarity, it might have other uses and it might be able to expand (which is what me and everyone else meant with "release", methinks) like Tsunade's as well. We'll have to wait and see.

What I'm saying is that the markings caused by Sozo Saisei aren't an effect of the Yin Seal, its just an effect of Sozo Saisei, I probably worded that poorly, my bad.
