Sakura power up flaw?

Is it just me or is the fact that sakura has been storing up chakra for 3 years some BS? I mean she has been on the verge of death twice.

But wouldnt she lose all the chakra stored up if she was on the brink of death wouldnt she lose all she had stored up? Or did she just know she would make it out alive.

The way I see it, you know how Tsunade always uses a technique to "unseal" her diamond on her forehead to release the chakra needed for whatever? At other times, even when pounded, the diamond remained. So what I think is that even while the user faced tough experiences, the chakra remained until it formed the diamond seal. The only way to release it is to perform the necessary releasing technique.

I understand that the diamond would protect the chakra if not unsealed. But what im saying is she didnt think to use it during her fight with sasori or even against pain? She just knew she would survive and waited till now?

I think the point you're all missing is, why wouldn't she bother to use her powerup when she is close to dying? What good is saved up chakra if you die before ever making use of it?
