It's absolutely not entertaining anymore to see him using these Rasengan variations over and over again. It's probably because after these years of training he is struggling a his genin level skills still for the most part of his preparation.
It wasn't long ago when having no SM/BM was terrifying news for him, in the end you can't be impressed if the protagonist can't even create the Rasengan through the proper way, just it's basic form without the help of his clones, let alone Kurama for the Rasenshuriken's training back then and nothing else about his rare Futon affinity anyway.
If we take a look at Sasuke's arsenal, the positives are already in his favour, he is using his Katon precisely, just how much it's needed, though he needs to improve a little more to catch up alongside Madara and Obito.
Sasuke can manipulate, change the form of his Raiton, basically there are no limits for his Enton so he can do whatever he wants now.
I don't know if we have to blame his borrowed power, but Naruto didn't even specialize in the sealing jutsu which was the trademark of his clan, except that 1 lifetime usage against Kurama, great...
The only character that keep improving his skills in the timeline now is Sasuke, at least they don't come randomly.
It took awhile but as expected he didn't disappoint us, besides that annoying spam of Susanoo when he was obsessed with his revenge.
I hope that it's not gonna be just his Blaze release from now on like Naruto did with the giant balls spamming thing and nothing else, though he is far ahead of Naruto when it comes to talent.
