Like is this a mistake or can he just bust out new limbs whenever he wants?
Also, if he can does this open up a whole new range of jutsu he can do?
Because as we know from Orochimaru, handseals and chakra are what is used to make new jutsu
Just like mixing two primary colours together to get a secondary

There's four hands. I think they're just fast moving hand signs?
But if you read the sound effect backwards, Hashirama is having a good time.
