You don't need a Sharingan to obtain the Rinnegan. Look at the SO6P. He didn't have it and he also was an Uzumaki. Sealing the Bijuu made him obtain the Rinnegan. He then separated the 9 tailed beast. Well Naruto almost has all their Chakra. Once he has a piece of their Chakra he should be able to obtain the Rinnegan and be the child of prophecy.
He will then lose the Rinnegan after the fight because he will guide them to a different path and they probably won't be inside any human.
