Curious thing i noticed during the Madara vs Hashirama fight

We see Hashirama here talking to Kurama and he is heavily wounded on his face(especially the left side) and right eye almost closed, but his armor has no damage at all

I thought the event happened after the fight against Madara, but...

we see here that when the fight was almost ending, he lost half of his armor, but is not that heavily wounded on the face:

Is it a retcon? When da hell did that happen?

Yeah that's a retcon alright. Unless Hashirama can somehow pull off a wardrobe change after a gruesome fight.

But, alas, kishi is human. He's made errors like this in the past

Even so, the only possible explanation Kishi can make up for it(if we suppose the 2events happened during the fight against Madara) is to say that on the first pic(when Hashi is talking to Kurama), it was during the fight against Madara, which i find unlikely since i doubt Madara would have given him the time to do such a thing. But on the other hand there is still the mystery concerning when exactly did Mito interven in that fight

he had to have Mito seal Kurama aftethe madara fight and kurama prob woke up and hashi had to fight kurama again..

after the madara fight.... and the stabbing.... hashi and mito went to seal kurama and fought them


or it was during the fight with madara that was skipped over in the last flashbacks of edo hashirama's story..

or just redone over

I'm sure mito came in and hashi sealed the kyuubi during the interval of time we haven't seen, the fight then continued to the next frame we see with hashi's armor removed from the fight we haven't seen yet. It's simple.

Madara could have had a Hashi wood clone in genjutsu (standing still) while the real Hashi/Mito fought Kurama.
