*Glances back at Xero and starts talking with his mind again
'She's not strong enough yet Xero, you better correct that quickly. She's important for the future, but you are already aware of this, aren't you?
"but remember back Pan, you were the reason I was in that dilemma in the first place! You owe it to yourself and your race to become stronger!"
*a flashback plays of Pan appearing next to Mantis as Vegeta's blast was about to hit, providing the distraction needed for Mantis to get into Vegeta's mind

 

[Fearmonger]

*a blast lands near Pan and Xero, sending them flying and Xero reverts back to normal, they look and see it was Vegeta who shot it
Vegeta: Xero, if you really care for that girl, you should be making her stronger!
*thinks to himself 'but she did save your tail against Mantis...Shut up annoying voice in my brain!'

"Considering your lives were at risk, I decided not to use my strongest attacks or you all would've died in the blasts. That alone is what gave Mantis a chance to attack me mentally. Don't forget that!"
*Vegeta looks at Xero and starts speaking to him in his mind
'Xero, you know I'm right, that girls life will end if she stays how she is now'

Xero: Yes, master.

Pan shrugs. "Training still sounds fun though." U_U

Xero: Then you won't mind if I do this!
*despite his tone, he shoots a ki blast reluctantly and it goes pretty slow*

Pan sighs. "Technically that wasn't my fault. The mirror picks to appear anywhere and it chose there. And what saiyan spirit? I can't go super saiyan."

Pan easily dodges the Ki blast. "That was pretty slow...."

Pan notices Vegeta looks kind of spaced out. "Did you hear something?"

Vegeta: I said I'm fine Pan, if I were you I'd be more worried over Xero holding back when training you. That's the real problem in front of you right now"

"you know I'm right, if you don't want to see her dead, you better step up your training and stop holding back. If she dies, you have failed her"

*the ghost of mantis appears in front of you, only you can see it

Out of nowhere, fox appears behind vegeta and delivers a haymaker to the back of his head, sending him flying. "FORGET SOMETHING???"

*Vegeta sees Mantis's ghost and is distracted, barely hearing him before being shot across the ground by Fox's blow
