[Predictions] Sakura's powerup could very well be Slug Sage mode

Just a few reasons off the top of my head why slug sage mode is a high possibility for Sakura:

1. The real translation I got from a Japaneese native was, "I've almost collected enough"; I guess mangapanda just assumed it was chakra but she could also be referring to natural energy.

2. I'm almost certain that slug sage mode exists; Kabuto mentioned there where 3 places to train for sage mode, Mount Myōboku (toad sage), Ryūchi Cave (snake sage) and then the third one is Shikkotsu Forest. Given those first 2 I think the third one is slug sage since:

Naruto/Jiraiya = Toad
Sasuke/Orochimaru = snakes
Sakura/Tsunade = slugs

3. She has extremely good chakra control, the best out of team 7 infact. This means that she would not need as high chakra reserves like Naruto because since she can control the chakra better, therefore less will be wasted. I doubt she has low chakra reserves anyway, she just restored Naruto's (an Uzamaki) chakra up to full and she's 100% fine and about to fight..

4. She will surpass her master with this tech. Team 7 have been foreshadowed to do this.

5. There are 2 chapter covers which show team 7 with their respective summons, including Sakura and her slug; it at least hints towards her being able to summon a slug.

I'm more inclined to believe that it is a variant of the Yin Seal that Tsunade has. She had to "collect" when she was ready to use it and then released the Yin Seal to apply the boost.

Each of the Team 7 Students took something from there Sannin:

Naruto: Learned Rasengan and the use of Toad Summonings
Sasuke: Taught Kenjutsu and the use of Snake Style techs (Also able to summon Manda)
Sakura: Chakra enhanced Strength and Medical Ninjutsu.

However Sakura is the only one who didn't gain anything that refers to the Sannin's summonings. You can deduce that their is no slug sage mode, and Sakura collecting chakra is due to her ready to release the Yin Seal.

I just find Sakura having Sage Mode improbable.

Hence, its most likely either a new technique or mitotic regeneration

Tsunade states quite plainly that only she knows Byakugō. Sōzō Saisei/Mitotic Regeneration is powerful but isn't going to really allow her to make a difference in the battle. Tsunade already used a more powerful version of it and she's in half so why would Kishi showcase a weaker version of the same jutsu? That makes no sense. It also has Sakura breaking Rule# 4 for a really crappy reason which ALSO makes no sense.

Logically, this leaves Sage Mode, Mokuton/Wood Release jutsu OR something never before seen.

Tsunade doesn't have it for lack of trying. If I recall she couldn't balance the chakra correctly due to the Yin seal.

There's also foreshadowing for Sakura having something to do with the slugs.

It is most likely SSM, why would kishimoto make emphasis on these 3 places being famous through kabuto, in this war i'm almost positive it might be the last mode he shows off. I would say yin seal if i saw it but i don't and i would assume that her storing it the seal would have already appeared.

Why link slug summon to her in terms of a power up? i'm sure she could summon it as her usual self without preparation. that is going it big far.

my only thing is, it does show naruto, sasuke, and sakura on covers a couple of times relating to the summonings (sasuke with snake/hawk, naruto with frogs, sakura with slugs) and i just feel like after naruto and sasuke's develop this theory could be well why she is able to summon. idk if she will get sage mode, but i do think she will have a technique that involves her chakra control and to at least summon katsuya (though if she did...the kages might die ha ha)

Sakura getting S-rank offensive capabilities like sage mode would be a major ass-pull because she doesn't even perform any lower level offensive-type ninjutsu like chakra manipulation (elemental) techniques or Kuchiyose no jutsu.

I'm glad she's getting a little power-up, but this is much too farfetched. Not only that, I think we would have definitely seen some sage-like preparations if she really was about to enter sage mode. I mean even Hashirama has to put his hands together and stay still for some time before he can enter his sage mode, and this guy is like the master of natural power (Mokuton).

I think her power that she's going to unleash is going to be physical strength that is even more concentrated and powerful that it normally is...perhaps even more powerful than Tsunade's strength. After all, she has been constantly praised for her exceptional chakra control and physical strength.

People are absolutely correct in saying it would be a total asspull if Kishi doesn't provide some sort of explanation. As a Sakura fan I would be thoroughly pissed if she got no explanation as well. However, we have to remember, Sakura really hasn't been expanded upon AT ALL through the 600+ chapters of Shippuden. Is that because she didn't accomplish anything or because she never got her time to display what she's been doing with herself for the second half of the series? The manga has never really slowed down to focus on Sakura, thus we don't feel she's accomplished anything.

It's entirely possible that she's been working on whatever her power is since the timeskip. I honestly have no idea what it is I'm just following the clues and putting the pieces together.

With as little character development as Sakura has gotten I think it's very likely we'll see a flashback or a montage showcasing whatever it is she has perfected. She's been absent or barely seen through enough of the arcs to provide logical explanations for her to have been elsewhere concentrating on herself.

Her actions throughout the series also support her collecting energy for something. The last time we really saw her go all out was Sasori. Why use a poisoned kunai to try and kill Sasuke when she could punch him into next week? It expends less chakra and energy.

I think whatever she's been training for, she's been doing it for the better part of 600+ chapters. It makes sense. I'm anxious to see where Kishi takes her and how he explains her new strength.

Absolutely. She's in desperate need of at least one or two chapters focusing on her to break it down and explain it to the reader. Anything else is pretty lazy, asspully, and a pretty crappy way to treat the character honestly.

sakura is probably bluffing cz her training with tsunade was complete.....and she had plenty of chances to use her power up(if she had any),
1) fight with sasori
2)fight with orochimaru
3) Pain....etc

I really doubt sakura is going to sage mode but she has followed the medic rule her master as laid out till now which is why I think it would be BYAKUGOU-mitotic regeneration jutsu with some cherry blossom twist because 1. You have to store chakra 2. She entering the war as a worrior now.
