Now we have a confirmation that Naruto and Sasuke will fight for the Hokage position. I'm not against the idea at all, but my issue is how can this fight be epic? I mean Sasuke is a good character again, so how can we have a good vs evil showdown? There won't be intent to hurt or kill severely in that final fight. Unless Sasuke is just pretending to be a good character in order to revert to being evil or Orochimaru takes control of Sasuke. I am prone to say that i would rather have Orochimaru take over Sasuke's body than seeing Sasuke fight Naruto. Will it happen? That is unclear to me. I knew the Hokage debate was bound to happen. That was crystal clear since the moment Sasuke asked the question of what is a village and a shinobi it was obvious that he would want to correct the village. Didn't Madara want to become Hokage? Sasuke decided to become Hokage, so that no one falls on that path of hatred ever again.
My concern is the last chapters have been overdone by Kishimoto. He seems to be losing ideas based off what we've seen in the last two arcs. I'm not trying to say he did a horrid job, but when you look at the Chunin Exams, Sasuke Retrieval Arc, Kazekage Arc, Pain Arc, and Kage Summit Arc it doesn't have the same level of eagerness. Even if we are in the climax which is suppose to be the most important arcs to the story. I just don't dig them because the battles are not interesting. All you see is emotional conversation most of the time. Here are some demonstrations that piss me off from this war:
Sasuke's being evil is put with the title of carnage thought Sasuke was going to slice some *****es into ham cubes.
Kabuto crying, who cries in a war, people?
Obito becoming a stupid village and falling for the Naruto Talk-No-Jutsu.
Madara's hormones going crazy as you can see his reaction when he sees Hashirama arriving.
So will the Naruto vs Sasuke only feature a speech battle between the rivals:
